October / On My Own / The Final Hours   
S Y N O P S I S   
THE BOY:  The boy runs from home, from school, from friends. He takes what is owed him: money, a car, and his sanity. Without a second thought he fled from the world of his past, his pain, his anger--a world that wasn't so welcoming to him or to anyone else.       He leaves because she did. This is the preview for my official NaNo novel, October. It is similar to, but not the same as, the October you all know and love.

The Poet.   
The poet led his friend across the courtyard-wishing he could only just hold her hand. The emotions of an artist swirled through his head as he longed for the soft, warm touch of her hand in his. He took her past the clock tower, remembering how it had fascinated her upon her arrival.       He had hated that clock, with its irritating chimes and bells and such, but upon seeing her face light up when stepping into view had taught him to consider things a little differently. She was slowly coming to awareness after a long, restless night. The blankets had been pulled up to her chin, despite the warmth of the house. Hope Was Useless....

Ahhh.... gotta love that quote from my Nano--Preview's "The Boy..."

Anyway... I have some important emotions to display along with some helpful (maybe) information. I am unable to complete NaNoWriMo at this point because of my schedule and laziness in the past week or so.

Second, I've figured out that October is impossible. If you want to, i give you all permission to use my idea and see if you can do anything with it (as long as i get partial credit). The way the storyline is (or maybe just my own stubbornness) makes it difficult for me to move forward from a prologue.

Third, after our football team gets killed in playoffs friday, there is no more marching band. That means that my schedule is going to be rather close to empty until Mr. G. starts really cracking down on concert band (that's gonna be oodles of fun...).

And finally (which will probably be your favorite), i have run out of things to say.

Until who knows when...

and since u said that you weren't saying my poems would bad? What exactly would it count as then? and i would add bigger words, but i can't usually think of bigger words when i'm writing it comes after and then i forget it. And i'm working on the discriptive part. I'm not quite good at that yet.

hey lovely.
this is probably not going to be a poetic thank you. since i'm currently feeling unpoetic.
but it IS personalized. so that should count for something.
i want you to know that your words/favorites/support mean so much to me. and i can never thank you enough for that.

other things i want you to know are that i DO intend to read your stuff as soon as i can. i'm just very behind. and the real world has caught up to me. but i intend to get to it shortly. really :heart:
