October, Gifted, & Forever/Perfection

Journal Entry: Sun Nov 15, 2009, 11:59 AM
Though NaNo is almost over and i have nothing for it, i've reached a compromise. My Novelist side and my Poet side have agreed to let me collaborate with the ever-brilliant and entertaining :iconcari-of-sunagakure:

October:
October is almost how one would remember it: Megan, Danny, and Lucifer and their stories. There's a new important character, Eva, who is an interesting little person. She's a year younger than Danny and Megan and has the ability to see and talk to the "colored people." She enjoys the company of dead people, who she sees as colored, over living ones, except for Danny. Also another main character, Megan's dead cousin Abby Rabanas, or the Perfection Theif--also known as the Invisible Girl.

Gifted:
This is Cari's version of October from Eva's perspective. Eva is a loner who is often seen muttering to herself and regarded as psychotic. In reality, she's helping the "colored people" find their way to where they need to go. 98% of her friends are dead--the other 2% is Danny and her mother. She finds out a whole bunch of theories regarding "colorblindness"--or being able to see the "colored people" as only gray and without faces but only eyes, which is as the "colored people" see each other. Eva is one of the "Gifted," or those who can see the nature of the "colored people" as they should be seen.

Forever/Perfection:
Abby Rabanas was 15 years old when she died in a museum bombing. She wondered for the longest time: why me? After her death, she was brought forward 400 years. A strange 17-year-old named Bill was shackling her to a chain which was attached to an enormous grandfather clock. This clock ticked backwards and froze when someone in the world died. This strange clock was powered by the Perfection of those who make it stop. Her job is to clean the sins from this Perfection and feed the clean "soul" of the person into the clock just before they die. She is granted the ability to be unseen by all besides the Gifted and Colorblind and can stop time at will when removing the Perfection of the dying. For the longest time, she couldn't find an escape until she meets Danny and Eva. Unknowingly, she sets the twisted system after her beloved cousin, Megan, the Followed.

I'm a teenager struggling to grasp some form of art. I've stumbled upon writing, but i'm still failing to... reach my own standards. I constantly am blessed with brilliant ideas, but am struck down when i fail to represent their brilliance. I'm seeking help and advice from anyone willing to give it.

well, whatever.

Guess what?

1. I bought a Breaking Benjamin album and they're so much like Three Days Grace that it's not even funny. I LOVE them both!

2. I found Reverie (after HOURS of searching) and am going to post all x amount of chapters on here momentarily!

1.I know. i have a miniscule amount of stuff by them both, and request your assistance.

2:Oh. Dear. Lord. Good luck with THAT...

3: the shift button and I are on unfriendly terms...

:iconpaperheartsyndrome:
hey lovely.
this is probably not going to be a poetic thank you. since i'm currently feeling unpoetic.
but it IS personalized. so that should count for something.
i want you to know that your words/favorites/support mean so much to me. and i can never thank you enough for that.

other things i want you to know are that i DO intend to read your stuff as soon as i can. i'm just very behind. and the real world has caught up to me. but i intend to get to it shortly. really
